BT Magnet-Technologie GmbH is a joint venture company of Robert Bosch GmbH and TDK Corporation, Japan.
|

|
| |
The factory in Herne, Germany (North Rhine-Westphalia), mainly supplies ferrite magnets and sintered metal parts to the automotive, automotive parts and power tools industries.
|
| |
The production area sintered metal is geared to sintered structural parts with the most rigorous requirements concerning geometry and sintered material. By producing high densities already when pressing the parts combined with state-of-the-art process control during sintering BTMT realises high-strength sintered parts for applications which had been denied to sintering technology so far.
Apart from producing self-lubricating bearings further fields of application for BTMT sintered products are both high-alloy, weldable sintered materials and the use of soft magnetic composite materials, SMC.

| |
BTMT's customers include Robert Bosch, Brose, Daimler, Volkswagen, TRW, LuK, Schaeffler Group.
